However, if you are not a client you can also sign up for a hosting plan only by writing to hosting@fuertecloud.com and sending us a link of the site you want to bring with us or if you don’t have it yet, the theme it will have. We know that nowadays this may seem less practical or cumbersome, but this allows us to offer a level of security and performance difficult to find in other shared servers and offer a professional and close treatment out of the ordinary. Think of us as a small town where wherever you go you still get a good morning. Many start here because of the value for money of our Worpress hosting, but we realise that this can be temporary. If at any time you need more resources than we can give you, we are the first ones who will go out of our way to solve it so that you can migrate to a dedicated hosting. Our WordPress hosting is optimised specifically for WordPress, which means faster, more secure servers and dedicated technical support. Standard hosting is more generic and not specifically configured for WordPress, so you may not be making the most of your server resources.

Shared hosting means that your website shares resources (CPU, RAM and storage) with other websites hosted on the same physical server. This allows a more affordable cost while maintaining optimal performance, although there is a limitation on resources to ensure that all sites work properly. In the cPanel control panel, you will be able to monitor your available resources and check that we guarantee what is advertised in your plan. This is very easy to achieve as we do not oversell, i.e. we do not sell more hosting plans than the server supports by making a simple division.

Managed hosting means that we take care of the technical configurations, updates, security and optimisation of the server. You or whoever you have contracted, only has to worry about the maintenance of your content, your WordPress, plugins, backups of your account etc, saving you time and avoiding complex technical problems, both at hardware and software level, derived from the management of a server with security features and performance optimisations as advanced as ours.

There are certain contents that are not allowed on our hosting:

  • Illegal sales or distribution websites (piracy, drugs, illegal medicines, etc.).

When your plan reaches the contracted limit of CPU, RAM, disk access (I/O) or concurrent processes, an error message will appear clearly indicating this. However, we offer a small temporary safety margin that allows you to slightly exceed these resources. If this situation persists frequently, the error will continue to appear each time you reach these limits.

When you sign up for a hosting plan, you also sign up for processing power (CPU) and memory (RAM). The hosting not only stores your files, it also needs to run PHP scripts and manage MySQL or MariaDB databases.

Think of your hosting plan as a small computer inside a larger server; you are allotted a maximum percentage of power and memory that you can use.
